the magazine sabado (saturday) launched yesterday (11/22/2012) an issue where the unknown world of jehovah's witnesses .
is revealed, and not for the bestreasons.
from the false prophecies, doctrinal inconsistencies, pedophilia and absurd prohibitions .

my dad heard from the co who heard from a do that heard from his brother-in-law that heard from the friend of a governing body's wife, that the gb is getting very concerned that "the friends" are losing sight of the nearness of the panda-petting paradise.
many of these friends are also looking too critically at the "spiritual food" provided by the "faithful slave class.".
don't tell anyone else, but i hear that the gb has begun testing something new on some of the sheeple.
though i no longer believe the fds is indeed appointed by god, i guess because of what has been taught to me all these years through the wtbts, i still make an effort to try and look at both sides.
and then i come across this number below, which is how i arrived at my title for this thread.
***w81 2/15 p.19 do we need help to understand the bible?***.
BUMP!
Purely just to read some apologist denials on this. LOL
while i am no fan of mother teresa after reading some of the revealed facts about her life and work - i thought this was just a little out of the realm of polite conversation (but was interesting):.
atheist group at dartmouth plans anti mother teresa event.. .

This thread is pretty eye opening. I was unaware at how some viewed MT. As a witness though, I didn't like her only because she wasn't JW. Anyway, I decided to do a little research. Here's an interesting article in Time magazine about her.
Read Mother Teresa's Crisis of Faith
Might she have been agnostic? Possibly.
I am inspired to read more. I never knew.

Edit - I fixed the link. It works now.
i agreed yesterday to engage in the '607' topic.
i've read numerous threads and am well aware that this topic has been addressed and dissected quite thoroughly.
therefore, if you are uninterested in participating, that's fine.
Have we established this douchebag to be Recovery?
Sorry if I missed something but it sure seems like it.
Whoever it is still continually avoids answering his other threads.

Ethos, what are the chances of you answering back on your other threads?
WinstonSmith said - I'm sensing a similar modus operandi to a recently banned user...
I completely agree.
I smell a rat.
Still no responses by Ethos?
Could he be a reincarnated Recovery? Anyone address that yet?
I see some other threads by him posing questions but not really giving answers. Strange yet familiar.
Tuesday on the east coast. Was this thread made just to pull our leg?
It's funny that the article talks about how many mistakes science has made and then had to make changes because of a new understanding.
But why, in my opinion, is that example not comparable?
Well, science does not claim to have been blessed with info or guidance from a divine source!
The WTS constantly prides itself with the 'understanding that Jehovah has given them', albeit wrong.
Why wrong? Every few years it' time to make a change, and all of a sudden, 'we were wrong in our understanding'.
But wait - I thought Jehovah, through his spirit, blessed them with understanding? Now what was taught is wrong? If Jehovah is/was the source, then who screwed up?
